Another Car Crash

Shahid Malik, MP, Justice Minister: "It's a bit of a non-story." "We've got to draw a line behind it and move forward". "And I said [about his home cinema claim] 'well what is the limit - there is no limit!'" And so forth.

PC Knacker: "Er....right, sir. How is the home cinema system, by the way? Were you getting enough free time to use all its features as a minister of the Crown? I'm afraid we will be needing that as evidence though, sir. Now, can we turn to the small matter of your rent arrangements and mortgage claims..."

As total car crash interviews go, this one with Sky last night definitely ranks right up there with Lembit Opik's classic on 5live this week.

But, putting humour about this venal, lying, troughing Labour shit to one side for one moment, this is the really dangerous one. This guy is MP for Dewsbury. The Brit national socialist gargoyles are seriously active around there and Malik is a British Pakistani.

This one could get very, very ugly. Shocker.

  1. Spot on. There are some ugly, corrupt practices in the politics of these small wool and cotton mill towns and the BNP will profit from this. It's going to get very, very ugly indeed.
